June 1, 2019:

The IRS released a draft of the W-4 that would go into effect for tax year 2020.  Some say completing it could be just as daunting as preparing a tax return.  What are your thoughts?

 May 31, 2019:

Legislation has been signed into law by AZ Governor Doug Ducey that will require remote sellers and marketplace facilitators that have not been collecting transaction privilege tax (TPT) under current state law to begin filing and paying TPT in Arizona starting October 1, 2019.

What does this mean? It means e-commerce retailers OUTSIDE of AZ who sell to individuals in Arizona, will now be required by law to collect and remit sales tax to the state of Arizona effective 10/1/19 (if certain income thresholds are met).

What does this mean for e-commerce retailers who reside in Arizona and sell outside of the state? This means that we need to take inventory as to which states you sell into, and see if any of those areas have signed something similar into law.
